Exhibitions
The club organises three exhibitions each year, Railex, Risex and Haddenham, and opens its doors to members of the public for our annual open day where people can come and see what we do. We have also joined in Princes Risborough Festival which we call Festirail normally held in the summer.
RAILEX 2027 - Change of Date
Saturday 22nd May, Sunday 23rd May
This is the weekend BEFORE the Bank Holiday
The Exhibition will once again be in the Main Hall of the Stadium
Please note this is a change of date. We have moved a weekend earlier than our “traditional” weekend which will, we believe, make the show conflict less with family activities over the Bank Holiday and half term.
Railex is our large finescale exhibition, where the quality of layouts is paramount, along with a great selection of specialist traders for our visitors to meet all your modelling needs.
The exhibition will again be held at the large sports hall in 2027, at Stoke Mandeville stadium in Aylesbury.

RISEX - Saturday 21st February 2026
Risex is our smaller family exhibition, where we offer a fun day out for the family with a good selection of interesting layouts with a few traders offering ready to run models, books and specialist components. We also have a great second hand stall.

Haddenham & Thame 26th September 2026
On Saturday 26th September 2026 starting at 10am we will be hosting a small exhibition in Haddenham village hall featuring half a dozen layouts, traders and our secondhand stall. It's an exhibition for local families, somewhere to see what could be possible for them, or their children, or just to enjoy seeing the skill of local modellers and watching the trains. Club Open Day - 11th July 2026
With our Open days we allow the public to visit on a day where we can show prospective members what we get up to. In support of the Risborough Festival, we held our Open Day on Saturday 11th July 2026, at St. Mary’s Hall, Church Street in Princes Risborough. Our Open Day is an informal event where you can talk about railways, models, and modelling techniques. It will feature one of our club layouts as well as demonstrations and displays of club member’s projects and a second hand stall selling rolling stock, scenic accessories, books, and magazines.
