Description: 4mm (OO gauge). One of the 25 bagagge vans built by the NOrd Railway for the Night Ferry. The Nord adapted their standard van
by fitting dual barakes and removing the stepboards to allow running in the UK (step boards were replaced by fabricated metal step).
Model is a MARC Models brass kit with added details and modifications. This was my first brass kit and constuction is solder based. It is modelled for immediate
post Frnech railways nationalisation period (early 1938) and is therefore painted and lettered for SNCH ownership. (Pipework will be added as part of the semi-permanent
coupling arrangement when construction of the NF rake is complete).
