For the Best Model on a layout Gerry Beale (one of the original editors of MRJ) went round the exhibition to pick what he thought was the Best Model. The out come of this was won by Jacq Damen for the mill on the left hand end of his layout The Mill (The Mumby Lumber Co). Jacq also wins a voucher to spend at Eileen's Emporium
